Summary: eDynamic has successfully developed a website, an Intranet and implemented an enterprise content management system for NHCC on Sitecore and SharePoint, focused on providing service offerings to current and potential students, and ensuring a seamless working experience for marketing people to be able to manage the website content and layouts very easily.

BROOKLYN PARK, MINNESOTA – October 26, 2009: The goal of this initiative was to provide a single point of entry for all the information published by NHCC employees for its current and potential students. Another major point was giving non-technical marketing staff the ability to keep the site current without depending on expensive external vendors. They also wanted to ensure that NHCC faculty and staff is able to find accurate information quickly. Developing applications to announce class listings, news and announcements, cancelled classes online, etc was another major requirement by NHCC.

Based on the extensive experience in developing similar solutions for some of the leading colleges and universities, eDynamic was selected to deliver an end-to-end Intranet and Enterprise Content Management System including their website, intranet, enterprise search and a host of applications.

By deploying Microsoft SharePoint technology and moving the outdated and hard-to-navigate content management platform to a formidable, new Sitecore CMS with solid architecture that allows rapid development of new websites, eDynamic has developed a robust solution that meets all of NHCC’s core requirements.

New web applications for crime log, employment opportunities, calendaring, scheduling systems for orientations, testing, etc. were also a part of the scope of work.

With the newly architected Intranet solution in place, NHCC has been able to save time, money and effort by giving their staff the information they need, at one central location. It has proved to be a hub for educational content, event scheduling, internal collaboration, college policies and procedures, intra-department request, course content dissemination, employee communications and recognition, document management, etc. This has also allowed the staff to collaborate better by using Sharepoint’s collaboration tools.
